Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Bengal and Delhi governments for not implementing the Ayushman Bharat scheme, thereby denying elderly citizens in these regions access to the extended benefits. The scheme, now covering all citizens aged 70 and above, provides free hospital treatment and an ‘Ayushman Vaya Vandana’ card.
