LAC pact: China talks of ‘important progress’, not ‘agreement’

India and China reached a milestone agreement to end the prolonged military standoff in eastern Ladakh, endorsed by PM Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping. The leaders held a 50-minute meeting, underscoring the importance of strategic communication and cooperation. Special Representatives will soon resume talks on the boundary issue to maintain peace and stabilize bilateral relations.
