Forty students and a teacher from Municipal School 88 in Agasan, Diva, experienced food poisoning after consuming a midday meal. A dead lizard was allegedly found in the food, prompting an investigation. Municipal authorities have issued a show-cause notice to the contractor, Adarsh Mahila Mandal, and police are registering a case.
