Senior directors of a Pakistan college refuted claims of a student rape on campus, amidst widespread protests fueled by social media posts. “The incident does not exist. I will resign and I will leave this profession and stand with the students if the incident took place,” said the Lahore college director. Maryam Nawaz, the CM of Pakistan’s Punjab also addressed the alleged rape incident, asserting that the accusations were ‘baseless and fabricated’.
