The draft report for the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code has been finalised and awaits approval from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The UCC, set to be implemented by November 9, includes laws on marriage, divorce, succession, and live-in relationships, marking Uttarakhand as the first state to adopt it. Uttarakhand will become the first state in the country to implement the UCC Act.
