Sebi imposed a Rs 12 lakh penalty on NSE Data and Analytics Ltd for failing to segregate IT resources and staff from its parent company, NSE. Irregularities were found in backup records, disaster recovery policies, system and cybersecurity audits, and KYC record validation between April 2022 and July 2023. NSE Data has started implementing corrective measures.
