India is ramping up its artillery capabilities along the China frontier by adding more long-range precision firepower. The Army will induct 100 K-9 Vajra self-propelled guns, additional Dhanush howitzers, Sharang guns, and Pinaka rocket systems. Efforts are also being made to boost indigenous ammunition production to address global supply chain disruptions.
