In spring 2025, Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla will pilot the Axiom-4 mission to mark India’s first human presence on the ISS. This historic mission is part of a bilateral initiative between India and the US, aiming to prepare for India’s Gaganyaan programme with rigorous training and scientific experiments aboard the ISS.
