The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has identified left-wing extremist groups as a threat to the Indian government, with significant terrorism risks linked to ISIL or AQ groups in Jammu and Kashmir. FATF praised India’s anti-money laundering efforts but pointed out areas needing improvement, including better prosecution of money laundering and terrorist financing.
