Junior doctors in Kolkata have ended their 41-day strike and will resume emergency services from Saturday while keeping OPD services suspended. They secured some demands like resignations of key officials but still seek more safety measures. The protest followed the alleged rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College.
