Since gaining Test status in 2000, Bangladesh has played several matches against India but is yet to secure a win. India has largely dominated these encounters with strong performances in both batting and bowling. Despite this dominance, Bangladesh has shown improvement over the years, especially at home, suggesting more competitive future matches. Bangladesh last toured India for a two-match Test series in 2019-20.
