The Indian government has expanded the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana to include all senior citizens aged 70 and above. This initiative will provide up to ₹5 lakh in health insurance per year for around 4.5 crore families, regardless of their socio-economic status, ensuring broader healthcare access.
