India’s civil aviation minister revealed plans to boost regional air connectivity by increasing the number of airports to up to 400 over the next 20-25 years. The UDAN scheme will be extended for another decade, aiming at affordable air travel. Other initiatives include developing regional aircraft and enhancing interconnectivity within Asia Pacific, along with advancements in urban air mobility technologies.
