A Turkish-American woman named Aysenur Ezgi Eygi was shot and killed by Israeli troops during a protest against settlement expansion in the West Bank. The incident took place in Beita, near Nablus. Both the White House and Turkey have urged an investigation into her death. Eygi was a recent graduate of the University of Washington.
