The Supreme Court denied Sandip Ghosh’s request to intervene in Calcutta High Court proceedings concerning an alleged biomedical waste disposal scam at RG Kar Medical College. The HC had ordered a CBI investigation into the scam and its possible link to the rape-murder of a doctor. The SC ruled that Ghosh has no locus standi in this PIL.
