Virat Kohli’s nickname ‘Cheeku’ was given by a coach during his early days in Ranji Trophy because of his chubby cheeks and big ears. The name gained popularity among the fans when former India captain MS Dhoni used to call it out to get Kohli’s attention while keeping wickets. Kohli will next be seen in action in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh beginning later this month.
