Taxpayers who filed their ITR for FY 2023-24, and paid more taxes than owed will receive refunds after processing by the Income Tax Department. Refunds are deposited directly into the taxpayer’s bank account. Taxpayers can track their refund status on the new income tax portal or NSDL website.
