Torrential rains across Telangana caused severe waterlogging in low-lying areas and disrupted daily routines. Lakes, tanks, and streams overflowed, isolating many villages and damaging railway tracks, which led to numerous train cancellations. In a dramatic rescue, a 50-year-old daily laborer swep away by the current while crossing a flooded culvert was saved by local youths and policemen.
