Pro-Khalistan radical groups in Canada held parades commemorating the 1995 assassination of Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh. The floats depicted the assassination scene, celebrating the killer. The events were condemned by Canada’s Minister of Public Safety. Similar rallies in Toronto were led by Inderjeet Singh Gosal. Canada’s Minister of Public Safety condemned the incidents.
