Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury accused the police of placing the family of a deceased doctor under house arrest, preventing them from leaving their home. Chowdhury claims the police acted under state orders and offered money to expedite the cremation. His attempt to meet protesting junior doctors was thwarted by the police. The CBI is now in charge of the investigation.
