Kolkata Police clarified that the individuals seen in videos at the R G Kar Hospital crime scene were directly involved in the investigation. The area was cordoned off early by local police to eliminate evidence tampering. Police have also claimed that once local Tala police reached the murder spot, the main area was cordoned off at 10.30 am, ruling out the possibility of evidence tampering.
