The ministry of external affairs dismissed CNN’s claims of India’s role in Bangladesh floods, labelling the report as misleading and incorrect. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stressed the ongoing data and information exchange between the two countries. He cited excessive rainfall and communication breakdown for the dam-related issues, denying any deliberate actions from India.
