Singapore Airlines has obtained the Indian government’s approval for the merger between Vistara and Air India. SIA will invest Rs 2,059 crore to secure a 25.1% stake in the merged entity, with Tata Group holding the remaining 74.9%. The merger is expected to be completed by the end of 2024, creating a significant airline group.
