Flipkart’s new mandate for sellers to verify their GSTIN through OTP has caused concern among sellers, who fear it could lead to unauthorized access to their confidential data and sales on rival marketplaces. Flipkart stated that the OTP is for validating GST registration to prevent misuse of GST numbers by unauthorized persons.
