The Cabinet has approved the establishment of 12 industrial smart cities with a total investment of Rs 28,500 crore. The initiative is expected to generate 12 lakh direct jobs and 20 lakh indirect jobs. The cities to be developed include Agra, Prayagraj, Gaya, Jodhpur, among others, prioritizing clean and sustainable industrial development.
