Leader of Opposition Atishi and 11 AAP MLAs were suspended from the Delhi Assembly for protesting. They were upset over allegations that the BJP replaced Dr BR Ambedkar’s portrait with that of PM Modi in the chief minister’s office. Atishi accused the BJP of disrespecting Ambedkar and vowed to continue the protest until the portrait was reinstated.
