Pavel Durov, Telegram’s CEO, was detained at Paris’s Bourget airport due to an arrest warrant tied to a police investigation on content moderation issues. He was apprehended while traveling from Azerbaijan. Durov, who holds a fortune of $15.5 billion, founded Telegram after leaving Russia in 2014 to resist government demands.
