The US government approved the sale of anti-submarine warfare sonobuoys worth $52.8 million to India for its MH-60R Seahawk helicopters. This sale aims to bolster India’s ASW capabilities, enhancing its ability to detect and counter threats in the Indian Ocean. The new equipment will complement India’s induction of 24 Seahawks by next year.
