CPI(M) leaders M V Govindan and E P Jayarajan condemned the Union Budget 2025-26 for ignoring Kerala’s key demands and accused the Centre of discriminating against the state. They criticized Union Minister of State George Kurian’s remarks suggesting Kerala declare itself backward to receive more funds.
