India’s space vision has been reinforced with a significant financial boost in the Budget, allocating Rs 13,416 crore for the department of space for fiscal 2025-26. An additional focus has been given to the National Geospatial Mission and the reduction of customs duties on critical satellite and launch vehicle components.
