Arjun Erigaisi drew with top-seeded Fabiano Caruana, while Praggnanandhaa and Gukesh also held their ground against strong opponents. Alexey Sarana scored the day’s only decisive victory. In the Challengers section, Vaishali Rameshbabu secured a draw, but Divya Deshmukh suffered a defeat.
