Chhattisgarh high court granted a 29-year-old man, born to an unmarried woman, his legitimate status and rights. Overturning a family court’s decision, the high court declared him entitled to legal benefits from his biological father. The man had sought maintenance and property share, which the family court initially denied, prompting his appeal.
