Bangladesh’s main opposition party, BNP, requested India to extradite former PM Sheikh Hasina to face charges of murder and other cases following her departure amid a student-led uprising. The BNP claimed that the charges are serious and fall under the extraditable category, urging India to uphold legal commitments under the bilateral treaty.
