An old chair placed on a 4ft sinkhole at Koramangala’s 5th Main, 17th Cross Road, prompted BBMP officials to fix it immediately. The sinkhole, near a hospital, posed a danger as it reappeared frequently and was difficult to spot, especially during rain. Residents claim that only temporary fixes have been applied so far.
