The Supreme Court has warned the Punjab government of constitutional consequences after it expressed helplessness in hospitalizing farmer representative Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is on a hunger strike at Shambhu border. The protestors have created a fortress with tractors, preventing authorities from intervening, fearing collateral damage. The apex court insisted on immediate compliance with its orders.
