Air India Express’s inaugural Surat-Bangkok flight saw high demand for onboard liquor, especially from passengers from the dry state of Gujarat. The airline had to limit some passengers to two alcoholic beverages to prevent unruly behavior, despite the popularity of Chivas Regal and Bira beer alongside meals and snacks.
