India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri visited Dhaka to discuss concerns regarding the safety of minorities in Bangladesh. While reaffirming India’s commitment to the interim government, Misri addressed attacks on minorities and cultural properties. Bangladesh acknowledged the concerns but labeled them an internal matter, also raising concerns about former PM Sheikh Hasina’s presence in India.
