Foreign secretary Vikram Misri met with Bangladeshi officials in Dhaka to address strained bilateral relations following recent attacks on minorities in Bangladesh. Both sides acknowledged the need to resolve outstanding issues and expressed optimism for a stronger, mutually beneficial partnership going forward. Misri emphasised India’s expectation of a constructive approach from Bangladesh in addressing these concerns.
