Paytm’s Singapore arm has agreed to sell its stock acquisition rights in Japan’s PayPay to SoftBank Vision Fund 2 for Rs 2,364 crore. This sale values PayPay at approximately USD 3.8 billion. The transaction, expected to close this month, involves rights convertible into a 7.2% stake in PayPay, acquired by Paytm Singapore for providing tech services.
