Uber Shikara, a new pre-booked water transport service, is launched at Dal Lake in Srinagar, allowing tourists to book shikara rides through the Uber app. Starting with seven locally-owned shikaras, the service operates at government-regulated prices, providing ease, affordability, and direct fare benefits to local operators.
