Sri Lanka’s consumer price index fell by 2.1% year-on-year in November, marking the lowest inflation point in nine years. Declines in power tariffs, fuel prices, and an appreciating rupee reduced inflation. Analysts predict deflation until February and a rise to 5% inflation by August-September 2025.
