A 74-year-old man, Anil Katyal, has been impersonating an IPS officer in Ghaziabad, using his elaborate ruse to influence police cases and network with officials. Katyal, who has an extensive corporate background, even attempted to leverage his fake identity to secure the release of an Indian billionaire held in Dubai.
