Gautam Adani, along with other executives, has been charged by US prosecutors for allegedly bribing Indian officials. The alleged scheme aimed to secure solar energy contracts worth billions of dollars. The charges include conspiracy to obstruct justice by deleting evidence and misleading US authorities. The SEC has also filed a civil lawsuit.
