A Bengaluru carpenter, Ravi Kumar, was arrested for allegedly beating his 14-year-old son, R Tejas, to death. Kumar was reportedly enraged by Tejas’ poor academic performance and his request to fix a mobile phone used for gaming. Despite Kumar’s attempts to conceal the crime by claiming a sudden illness, Tejas’ mother, Shashikala, alerted authorities, leading to Kumar’s arrest.
