Vodafone Idea reported a smaller loss of Rs 7,176 crore in the September quarter, thanks to tariff hikes that boosted revenue. Despite this, the company’s average revenue per user (ARPU) still trails behind rivals Jio and Airtel. Vodafone Idea continues to lose subscribers, ending the quarter with 20.5 crore users, significantly fewer than its competitors.
