Elon Musk’s Starlink must meet India’s regulatory and security requirements before receiving a license to operate satellite internet services, according to Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. While Starlink is working towards compliance, the government awaits recommendations from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India on spectrum pricing and allocation for satellite broadband services.
