The Indian government has successfully generated Rs 3,449 crore by selling a 1.6% stake in Hindustan Zinc Ltd. through an offer-for-sale. Institutional investors showed strong interest, while retail investors’ response was muted. This sale is part of the government’s ongoing disinvestment drive in the current fiscal year.
