Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, criticised Uddhav Thackeray for joining forces with the Congress, a party he claimed disrespected Balasaheb Thackeray and Veer Savarkar. Shah, speaking at the launch of BJP’s manifesto for the Maharashtra elections, challenged Thackeray to ask Rahul Gandhi to speak favorably about Savarkar.
