Legendary Bihari singer Sharda Sinha, fondly remembered as ‘Bihar Kokila,’ passed away at 72. She was hospitalized and on ventilator support following the recent demise of her husband. Sinha, a ‘Padma Bhushan’ recipient, was renowned for her contributions to folk music, particularly her traditional wedding and Chhath songs in Bhojpuri.
