The Madhya Pradesh administration has significantly increased compensation for victims of wild animal attacks from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 25 lakh, following recent fatalities caused by an elephant in Umaria district near Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. The tragic incidents occurred in Devra and Brahe villages, resulting in two deaths and one injury.
